"Kids only" page.

(My class in 2003) cheeky lot.

Kids, caterpillars and moths are the easiest things to keep in your classroom or at home.

For one...they let you talk to them for as long as you like with-out telling you to "buzz off".

Secondly... they only need to be fed every couple of days...mind you they do like you to wash their food under the tap before feeding.

Thirdly...they look ..AMAZING.. under a microscope.

Try that on your little brother or sister.

 Just a few do's and don'ts...

Do...feed them the same leaves they were eating when you found them.

Do...wash the leaves or grass. After all they like a drink from the leaves too.

Do...look at them a lot under the magnifying glass or microscope. They love the attention.

Do...show your friends how cool they are.

Do...put them back on the same tree if you are not able to look after them for any reason.

Do...let them crawl onto a leaf or stick if you are going to show them off, as some can make you itch.

BUT...DO NOT...put them too near your pesty little sister, as the poor furry little caterpillar or moth  could be scared out of his wits.

How about some of these weird things ..........

We found some small colourful eggs on a leaf ....

and were horrified when out hatched some gross looking beetles..

Would you believe that they , after a few processes, become beautiful Lady Beetles!!!!!!
