Pyralidae. Sceliodes cordalis This moth was caught in Pt. Lincoln and laid eggs in the container. We were able to photograph the development of the embryo's as the egg shell was so thin. (Photo. 04. developing. L. Jenkins. 2003) The children were wonderstruck to see the formation of new life.
(Photo 53. L. Jenkins. 2003) We were unable to rear them unfortunately. -------------------------------------------- |
