Health Information
Recommended minimum exclusion periods.

Common Infectious
- Gastroenteritis ( Gastro/Stomach Flu) - 24 hours after symptoms subside.
- Chicken Pox - 5 days from appearance of rash or until symptoms subside.
- Rubella (German Measles) - 5 days from appearance of rash or until symptoms subside.
- Measles - 7 days from appearance of rash or until symptoms subside.
- Mumps - 10 days from appearance of rash or until symptoms subside.
- Hepatitis Until a medical certificate is produced.

Common Skin Infections
- Impetigo (School Sores) - Until medical treatment from the doctor has been received.
- Ringworm - The sores must be covered, when the child returns to school, after treatment.

Infectious Infestations
- Scabies - Until effective treatment is received by the doctor.
- Head Lice - Until effective treatment has been carried out. Use a fine tooth comb to remove the dead eggs before returning the children to school.
The school has a supply of Lyban Lotion for sale. - PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD’S HAIR FREQUENTLY. Each child is asked to use their own comb and headwear.
