The AGM is on a Wednesday in March at 7:30pm in the Staff Room and will feature a guest speaker. Everyone welcome.
   

       
We have a very active Parent Club at the Port Lincoln Junior Primary School.
Our current Parent Club president is Tania Vogel.

They operate our school Uniform Shop, plan and organise parent information sessions, organise fundraising events and assist staff in making decisions about school needs and spending priorities. They explore and discuss educational issues meeting on a monthly basis to organise plans of action.

On a lighter note, they also organise a special visit by Father Christmas near the end of the year as well as holding regular "Special Recess" days (where children can spend 40¢ to buy from a large choice of recess foods donated by designated classrooms) and "Hot Dog Days".

Keeping cool under the new shaded areas

    Money raised from Parent Club fundraising efforts have recently funded the replacement of old equipment in our playground and the construction of new shaded areas outside our main classrooms .

 

One of their major ongoing fundraising lines is the drink bottle displaying the school logo. These bottles can be purchased for $5.50 (including GST) from either the Uniform Shop or the Front Office. All proceeds go toward the third stage of the new playground.
