This grey brick building was the Port Lincoln Junior Primary school's only building when it was opened in 1952. Over the following years  more and more transportable classrooms were added as enrolments grew and the need for these extra rooms became obvious. Our campus is currently at peak capacity with future space being a significant issue.

Our campus has 2 main playground areas. The largest is at the back of the school and incorporates a shade-cloth covered wooden set of climbing, crawling, sliding, dropping apparatus as well as a newer brightly coloured playgym unit. The Parent Club is currently raising funds to replace the wooden equipment with another of the playgym units.

The playground in the front lawned section of the school encompasses another bright playgym type unit (all under shade) and a large wooden jetty......all very popular with the children.

Our Resource Centre in an integral part of the Port Lincoln Junior Primary School's learning regime. We house a wide range of student  resources ~ books, videos, software, audio tapes, big books, as well as a variety of teacher resources including a comprehensive range of activities in both the literacy and numeracy fields.

Our Resource Centre is adjacent to our Computer Suite.

 In the Computer Suite we have 13 PC stations all networked together. This means larger classes work at 2 students per computer, while smaller groups are able to have one computer per child. Each week, all classes access the computer suite with either their class teacher or the computer teacher. Throughout the year they have the opportunity to work on MS Word, MS Publisher, MS Power Point, Kidspiration, and KidPix deluxe to name a few.
Each individual classroom also has at least 1 other computer for the children to access.

  
Our Front Office area comprises the offices of the Principal, the Deputy Principal, the general Office counter, the First Aid room and a preparation area for the Office SSOs. We have a full time Finance Officer and a 0.8 Office Assistant who both keep things humming along pretty smoothly!

Our Uniform Shop is situated in the Front Office area of the main building. We stock  windcheaters and T-shirts in a variety of sizes all displaying our school logo. We also sell shorts, long pants, trackpants, culottes, shirts, hats,  socks and tights as well as scrunchies and school bags . The Uniform Shop is run by the school Parent Club.
